So I have had my anthias in QT for the past 2.5 weeks. They have been eating great, even taking pellets. Two days ago, out of the blue one of the trio died. Yesterday, having noticed white feces, I started treating with prazi. Today, one ate this morning and the other just died. The last one has now lost appetite. To be safe I did a 50% water change before medicating the tank. If there is something I can still do to help I'd be interested in knowing. Mostly at this point I'd like to learn from this experience. If I could figure out what I missed, I could learn for next time. Thanks in advance for any help.

Stringy white feces is a symptom of intestinal parasites. Of course, it's impossible to know what type of worm is afflicting your fish. If it were a tapeworm, for example, then Prazipro would likely take care of it. But if it's Hexamita - then you'd need to treat with metronidazole. The solution to this quagmire is using API General Cure - because it contains both prazi & metro.
