I'm not exactly local, but I might be able to be persuaded to come down for some home made clam chowder 😎
That would not be a problem. 😆

This morning after my sunrise walk at about 5:30 am

I took this picture in the dark. Those 2 Janss pipefish were the only fish swimming around. I don't get it, they have not eaten anything that I could tell in a couple of weeks and all the time I have them.

Paul there is a saying. "Never put anything on you're body you wouldn't put in you're mouth" apart from soap obviously
I have had plenty of soap put in my mouth as a youth. Lol

I went to Manhattan for 2 days because they were supposed to coat the asphalt in front of my condo so we were not able to get into our place until 8:30PM.

Coincidently, my Grand Daughter graduated from middle school, and we went to visit her and go out to an urban (very overpriced) restaurant where they gave us "Elf food".

It was a beautiful two days, very sunny and about 72 degrees.
We arrived at my Daughters house downtown (after paying $100.00 to park, $40.00 in tolls, $25.00 in gas, $14.00 for the "congestion tax" they put on if you drive downtown, God knows how much for Ubers and untold stress for the bumper to bumper traffic for two and a half hours in traffic.

My Grand Daughter is very cute but now a teenager so a little snippy, not to me though.

After the dinner we went back to our Daughters house where she showed us the view from her roof deck on the 19th floor.

Some people like this, I don't. I worked in Manhattan for almost 50 years and would rather be in a rice paddy in Vietnam dodging bullets and mosquitoes as large as a small SUV which wanted to trip me and carry me home to feed their kids.

We finally went to bed because we couldn't be home before 8:30 when the asphalt will be dry enough to walk on without sinking in it and ruining my very expensive "American" sneakers.

In the morning I get a text. "To all residents of the HOA at Fox Hollow. The asphalt work was cancelled due to weather".

It may have rained in Great Britan or Sydney Australia but no where near my house so they re-scheduled it to next week when I will have to do it all over again.

This morning.

I and my wife went to Edmonton for my granddaughters middle school graduation which I had no idea that Alberta practiced this as it was always an American education structure . However it does and I am not against it actually have put no thought in about it . It may improve the peer pressure thing that I encountered physically changing schools from grade 8 to 9 was very intimidating , so no idea whether being a year older makes a difference . Every one wants to make their mark in the snow Anyway that turned out to be a trip that cost me alone $3 grand . However my Granddaughter was thrilled ( had her first surf and turf dinner. Obviously not shy

I was a bit slow to video the event as most fish had had their fill. I buy a bag of fresh live mussel from Morrisons and freeze them.
When I want to feed a mussel I put it in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds depending on size. I then crack open the shell and remove one-sided of it then pop it in the tank.

That is the best food which I have been saying for half a century. I keep them frozen and shave off paper thin slices. Or I eat them myself right out of the sea like M&Ms.. Or W&Ws if you read it up side down 😀

Good afternoon! I just thaw it in warm water, then drop the whole thing into the aquarium and open it up a little bit. My Copperband Butterfly loves it—though there is a bit of a scuffle among everyone afterwards—so I give them three of them.

I do the same but with "Little neck Clams" Emperor Angle loves them; Nassarius Snails look like a collage marching band headed to lunch. It's the best way to find out how many Nassarius Snails you have
