So I had some spare rock and a fluval 5 gallon tank laying around. I was outside in the garage just messing around. Got bored and lo and behold next thing I know my wife started building a little scape. To my surprise she was really enjoying putting the pieces together. As she normally just rolls her eyes at me. It turned out really nice I think. I’ve decided to keep it in the garage as I have to many in the house already as she has informed me lol. Which is fine I spend a lot of time out here and I like to be able to go anywhere in my house and be able to enjoy them. The plan is once it’s cycled I’ll pull some mushroom baby’s that I have and frag some Zoas. Maybe throw in a fire fish and a clean up crew. Curious to see how this light will do I’m not holding my breath though.

It looks great so far! What a fun adventure!!! Make sure that you enter the Reef Breeder's Pico LED contest - that may be a perfect light for that setup!

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
