Hey guys I’m newish to the hobby! I’m just wondering what the little critters in the below photo are. They look half maroonish and half cream. I just want to know if they’re harmful or not. (I’m hoping for copepods) and I have thousands of them running around my tank they range in size from like 1mm to about 3mm

Those are just sand particles.

Kinda hard to tell from the pic. I think I see some amphipods and copepods. But what are those odd shaped 'blobs'? Do those move around too?

Amphipods and copepods.
