Indeed. I do have a few of the zebra variety, but they're very shy and spend all their time deep in the rocks filtering. I only occasionally see them from time to time.

Mine pretty much hides til feeding time. But he(?) is fun to watch when visible

I said she as that was what I was told. Apparently their body flap is not a reliable means of sexing these crabs? Unlike normal crabs
Yeah, apparently like hermits they’re fairly closely related to squat lobsters

Mine likes TDO pellets. Takes me about 5 min to get a medium pellet into its mouth without it dropping it, but it is really enthusiastic during feeding time!
I gave it a small piece of mussel last night. Not sure if it ate it or not. I looked away for a sec then it was gone. Possible a fish took it
