Nice livestock lists. Bit of a tang fan myself. Think you forgot the foxface and trigger?

I just got 7 frags in this morning from Piece of the Ocean, BackDraft my favorite of those. A have a few WD, OP, and rainbow milli and Event Horizon rounding out my favorites.

Have fun on the new "bolt-on" frag tank.

Oh yeah, a male and female Blue Throat Trigger.

Yep, Tangs are my favorite fish.

I wanted to add a Royal (Blue) Tang too but not sure if that would be too much. I know they get a little over a foot long.

Update:

I got the doors and table top finished on the frag tank built-in stand

Also finished plumbing the frag tank and it’s up and running.

Almost finished with the moulding around the tank.

Just need to cut the corner pieces.

Ordered the DD Jumpguard Pro for the frag tank.

Very nice lid, easy to build. I used a chop saw to cut. Regular wood blade worked fine.

Finally got the light hung above the frag tank.

I went with the same lighting as the display - Orphek Atlantik V4 G2.

I used structural steel pipe from Lowe’s. I stained and coated the mounting block with polyurethane.

Awesome build. Especially like the barn doors and that top for your frag cabinet.

How do you clean your glass on the main display? Do you install a magnet from inside the fish room and tape the external magnet to the side? Lol I would be tempted to just leave it there permanently.

I use the Tunze Care Magnet. I have one of my kids hold the dry side while I attach the wet side.

I remove it and rinse it off when I’m done because it will last longer that way. Plus there won’t be critters growing all over it that could potentially scratch the glass.

A little update on the frag tank.

I ordered black egg crate through BRS and got the frag stands all finished.

I also ordered two MP10s and got those installed.

Somehow I stopped getting notifications on this thread. Excellent progress. Everything about it looks just great. I love having a second system to hold things in while I mess around.

Thanks, I got the trim from Lowes - item 140852.

I installed a header directly above the tank before the sheet rock. I used a finish nailer to nail the trim into the header.
