Hi All - My corals in my Nano tank have these white tubes attached to them. I'd been ignorning them thinking they are harmless, but now I'm thinking they are a nuisance and attacking my trumpet coral. Can someone help with ID and treatment if necessary. Below is a before picture with a healthy coral and an after with more white tubes on it. I'd been looking a post for vermidit snails with tubes but they are always shown as brown, but these are white.

Thank you.

Pics dark but appears to be poriferan sponge. Better i.d. with pics under white light intensity

They are soft so I'm thinking a sponge which I don't know anything about. Are they a threat to the corals and do I have to get rid of them? Thank you.

Yes sponge and they can grow and become invasive. . You can pull the strands with a dental pic and discard as they grow.
