So I just ordered the brand new Waterbox Platinum Pro 170.4/5 and it arrived with a chip to the rim on the front glass panel. Waterbox replaced the tank immediately for me and my new one is on it way! The bottom corner of the sump was also chipped away and is missing some glass on the outside. I did do a water leak test and it does hold water. I would just add some extra silicone and I am sure it would be no problem for you. The display tank is a really cool size and the main reason I picked one up. I will list specifics below.

Tank
130 Gallon
55" L x 26" W x 24" H
15mm Starfire glass on all 5 sides
Smoked glass overflow box and black painted back

Sump
40 Gallon
32" L x 20" W x 16" H
Built in refugium w/ removable wall/overflow
7" dual filter sock overflow chamber
5 gallon ATO fresh water chamber built in

You can see the tank listing on bulk reef supply here https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/170-...m-with-white-cabinet-130-gallon-waterbox.html

I just have to thank Waterbox for being so helpful. They allowed me to keep the tank and told me to sell it to a local reefer. Your chance to get a great tank cheap!

I am asking $800 for the tank and sump. It is only the glass tank and sump, will not include stand or any plumbing. Local pickup only. See pictures for the chips and the tank is still on the pallet. Please let me know of any questions. Thanks

I am located at zip code 15846

Make sure you are getting a sump as well
Because when a tank is replaced it’s usually the tank only nothing else sometimes no fittings only whatever is glued to the tank

Yeah the sump had a small chip on the corner as well noted and in pictures so they are sending both. Thanks for the heads up though!

With my work schedule I just don't have time to meet anyone somewhere other than the house for pickup

Yeah it's a pretty far ride and I work 2 jobs one at night and then 1 during the day so I'm very busy or I would definitely drive the distance to grab it because I really like these tanks and I think that they look just as nice as the red sea tanks

Yeah I feel your pain. Personally I think they are higher quality. Let me know if you change your mind on the tank
