Weird egg like thing with, well…

Looks like a pic from high school biology. I pulled this off the skeleton of a meat coral. I don’t know it was part of the coral or something else? It’s… interesting… what is it?

I have no idea but I'll bump ya.
Agree it's not either a bristle worm or and aiptasia. I woudn't touch it without gloves.

Yeah, that's a solitary tunicate - you can actually see both holes (siphons) on it in the pic quoted below, which is pretty rare with a lot of the transparent species (the one hole is at the top end of the brown tube - the digestive tract - and the other is by the fingernail); harmless filter feeder.
