Hey.

What do I have growing here it’s on the screen of my avast spyglass reactor. It is running bio pellets. Tank is only 3 weeks old. Not growing any where else in sump or DT. Thank you! D17EB80C-081B-4A3C-B6F0-FE48FC25FB05.jpeg F3F146E6-C48B-4164-BE21-4FB6FC07AD96.jpeg

If the reactor is not illuminated, we are looking at bacteria growth.

It does get a little light from the fug. would the bacterial growth be from bio pellets? Assuming that would be a good thing than...
I assume the growth is related to the pellets. You might check that this growth is not clogging up the reactor, preventing flow through the pellets. Maybe repost the picture asking whether this type of growth is normal in a pellet reactor.

Thank you. The flow is good pellets tumbling nicely. That is where the water is exiting the reactor. It’s the avast spyglass in case your curious.
