What are these things waving around?

I am currently elbow deep in some cyano and green algae (I've been away on an emergency for about a month and let someone "take care" of my tank lol) but what are these things waving at me?? I only have two clowns, some murderous hermits and a few cerith snails

I think those are hydroids. They will eventually disappear with time. Not harmful from my experience

I would agree on hydroids, maybe colonial hydroids. I had digitate hydroids, they do sting and when the population got bigger than I'd like I added a couple peppermint shrimp who promptly ate them up
