Just noticed this on my QT tank glass.... and there's something flittering around that looks similar to a pod but white... can't get a pic of the little guy as he moves around ALOT but I'm pretty sure he came from this.. just a scooter blenny and an astrea snail in the tank right now.

It's hard to tell from the small picture, but I'm guessing Medusa Hydroid. Here's a picture from Lionfish Liar's site:

Yep, looks like a hydroid. I had quite a few earlier in my tank. Now I don't see them anymore since it is slowly maturing.

I'l try and get a better pic but it kind of looks like that without the center ball thing... are these little guys good or bad? Was close to moving the snail and scooter to my DT, this shouldn't cause an issue should it?

Wouldnt call these kind bad, they tend to disappear after awhile too. If this was a fry tank, i would move them to bad category. Imo anyway.

Thank you all for your help, I started my DT with dry rock and "live" sand but since ordering some snails I've seen a few interesting things pop up in my QT which is a little exciting and nerve wracking lol
