What happens to the color of the acropora?

Hello everyone, there is a big difference between the color of the acropora I bought 3 months ago and its current color. The color has become darker, what could be the reason?

kh: 8.5
My values are generally stable, I give the AFR dose to my tank, my lighting is at 70% intensity, radion xr30 g4 pro sps ab.

Too many variables to list. Lightning, water chemistry, flow rates, nutrients, bio load, to name a few. Did it change color from day 1? What type of acro? Does your lighting match the system it came from?

Usually for me it’s lighting and flow. Acros usually shift color if not kept in a close enough range of parameters as those that sold it to you. But you can usually get the color back by increasing par and/or flow, or move it to an area that has those.

The walt disney acropora I bought 2 months ago is getting colorful but the bottom parts are getting darker. What is the reason?

The base and the terminal ends are growing and look similar in color to me.

May or may no be applicable but my last ICP showed no detectable Zinc. I started dosing Zinc weekly and my acros have noticeably improved. I have difficulty with bright yellow acros due to my lighting but now a month of Zinc dosing and boom bright yellow all around.
