Came in on live rock. It has two openings, kinda fleshy leathery feel to it. When I poke it the opening or "mouth" closed up. It's pretty solidly attached to the LR. At first I thought it was a tube work but no evidence of something living inside.

Is it attached to the mushroom? Do you have any other photos?Came in on live rock. It has two openings, kinda fleshy leathery feel to it. When I poke it the opening or "mouth" closed up. It's really cool! Maybe reach out to KPA for an ID?It's KP Aquatics LR. It's been in there for about 6 months before I noticed it. I'm guessing it's some sort of filter feeding invert by the way it keeps it's "mouth" open
Cool tunicateDefinitely not an abandoned feather duster tube. Might be a tunicate (harmless filter-feeder)... or an alien.
