What Is This?

Could anyone tell me if this is some kind of coral or if it is just junk,It came on a rock of zoanthids and there is alot of it but I broke off this little piece,hoping someone could tell me what it is so I can get it under the proper lights.

Looks like a sponge, and if it is taking out of the water can kill them sometimes....

I would guess some sort of encrusting hard coral

Looks like it might be a Pavona sp. coral. Is it hard like a coral or soft like a sponge? A clearer pic might help. Pavona sp. corals don't need a lot of light and I've found them to be reasonably hardy.

It is hard and encrusted on a rock, I will try to get a better picture tommorrow.

it is sponge...that stuff is growing like mad in my refug. Along with purple and blue as well. I would imagine it is going to die now that it was out of water though.

Help! Unidentified corals

Could anybody help me name these corals, and here are better pictures if the big piece and small piece from yesterday?and the other corals to I'll like to know what they are called.
