What kind of tang is This????

hey guys!

So my dad gave me this tang as s gift about 4 months ago, and I honestly never really saw into researching what kind it was.. since I got it I have seen a little bit of changes, especially on its face, it got these white freckles on its face, I’ve been trying to look it up but I’ve had no luck.. can you guys help me?? I have pictures...

Looks like a young maculiceps tang.

It does because of the freckles on its face. That would be awesome though! Those are beautiful and pricey!

It really does! It’s barely about 3 or 4 inches big.. I got it when it was about 1.5 to 2 inches and it barely got those changes on its face
