What may have sprouted in my tank?

I noticed these started growing on one of my snails. I'm assuming it's a good kind of macroalgea but, what kind it is I dont know. Any information is appreciated

I'd assume AlgaeBarn is correct, what you have there is a macro algae and it's absolutely fantastic to keep in the sump and grow with a plant light (spectrum). People pay for this stuff lol. If you were to take pieces of that off you could easily trade it to other reefers. In the meantime, you have a snail that's carrying around an effective nitrate/phosphate removing macro algae.
