I thought it was coraline algae at first, but now Im not sure. What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Im doing a deep cleaning at the moment, scraping off a lot of algae which is why there's tons of algae flying about in the water.

The green algae is only visibly green with white light, under blue light, everything looks normal

looks like green hair algae, use a toothbrush to loosen and remove prior to doing a water change. it's all part of the stages of establishing your tank

Yea, I did do that, but it didnt really come off much. What should I do? Just leave it or do what?
just take what you can off and leave it. it'll leach more out of the rocks. just try to keep on top of it, it can turn into a mess quickly.

Seems like very healthy green hair algae, manual removal if possible, although because its so small id reccomend something called Blue life RX that will remove it itself. If you do use it make sure to remove your carbon filter or it will NOT work.
