White flat worm?

Any idea what this is? Under rock on sand bed, I see it in mornings. Almost looks like a stray rubber and got into the tank - that size and shape.

This does look like a stray rubber to me, it was my first guess when looking at the image before reading the actual text..
Did you try to take it out and look at it closely?

I’ve heard they’re incredibly easy to catch, but that might be a bit of a stretch.

These worms are harmless and stretch when handled properly and keeps a wrasse very busy.

To be fair if I saw a rubber band in my tank I wouldn’t instantly think of it being a rubber band either.

Yeah, but my initial reaction was "wow, what a crazy worm, looks just like a weathered rubber band." And I didn't go in and just grab it because I guess I was hoping I would post it here and someone would say "wow, that's a Toga Toga algae killer native to one atoll in Vanuatu, you're so lucky!" I swear though, I was watching it for two days, I would see it first thing in the morning before the lights came on, and it disappeared once they did. Of course, my pumps are on a schedule and switch to higher flow patterns at around the same times . . .

I have been doing a ton of maintenance to this neglected tank trying to get it back, and my best guess is it's been in the tank for years and came out due to me moving the aquascape around, or it fell in as I've been shuffling things around the fish room, cleaning out nooks and crannies of the area next to my sump, going through old "spare parts" boxes, etc.
