How long have you had the clown? Any new additions to the tank? Did you QT?

With the discoloration behind his eye I was wondering about flukes but if you haven’t added anything in 2 mos they would’ve shown up previously. Have you tried a FW dip just to be sure? Let’s see if @HotRocks or @4FordFamily have any ideas

it almost looks like something is stuck to his eye. not discoloration but an actual object stuck to the outside of his eyeball

I agree I’d try a dip first!

Honestly, I have had a strain of prazi resistant flukes that haunted me for a while. It did manifest for months before it showed it's power.

I was able to erradicate them using Praziquantel in DT. To be sure treated 3 times with 5 days between each dose.

It slipped past GC, and didn't show up until about 4 months after I had added anything to my tank.

A FW dip is a great idea here.

Anything else come off the fish? White or opaque sesame seed shaped things?

If the eye is cloudy I bet it’s flukes. Dose Prazi twice 5-7 days apart. Aerate heavily as it depletes oxygen. You can either treat all fish in QT and leave your tank fallow for 4 weeks or treat in the DT I believe Prazi is generally Reef safe.

Its likely flukes based on your description of the eye alone. It will be cloudy for a few days.

I would recommend using a product like Prazipro or GC to treat the fish for flukes.
