For the life of me, can't find the video I made of this.

I basically took a coarse 1"x8"x10" sponge from amazon, cut some strips that I tucked between the blade housing and and the holder. that's it, it took shape w/in a day and I did cut the sponge a little so it took on a more convex cylindrical shape to completely cover the "internal" flow area. down side is I have to swap out and clean the sponge about once a month. Which is about how often I should be cleaning the pump anyway. did this for 2 years, nems (12) never go near it so I don't bother anymore. Not sure if that's wise
