BRS or Amazon. I'm not ashamed to admit it.

If I happen to be going up to my LFS, I'll pick some stuff up there, but 90% of the time it's one of those two. Amazon if they have it, BRS if they don't.

I spend enough time on the road already, and going up to the LFS is a 3-hour round-trip on a good day. I'd rather spend those three hours at home.

I would like to say that I get my consumables from my LFS, but sadly I do most of my purchases online at saltwateraquarium.com. That being said though I do get my food from my LFS because it’s the only place I can find LRS reef frenzy.

I try to get everything possible from my lfs. Great store, great selection and the owners have been in business for decades. I don’t want them going anywhere.

Local Fish Store (Rift2Reef, Highland Village, TX).

Their prices are decent and I always try to shop local when possible.
If you ever get to North Fort Worth, Robert’s Reef on N. Beach is Amazing, selection is great and hide DT of Tangs are awesome!

Frag racks and the like typically Amazon, though I did snag a couple ones on sale from BRS recently.

Apex Products - LFS all the way. Nice thing about MAP is it’s generally the same price everywhere and I’ll gladly try to support the little guy as much as possible. Bonus is that they always have a stock of almost all Apex products. When it’s out of stock everywhere online, I can usually find it there no problem.

Most live goods are LFS or trusted online vendors (no offense to new vendors out there).

Most other things is a shop around for the best price.

BRS usually for bulbs
Salt usually Chewy or whatever deal of week is going on...
Amazon for test kits, picking lime.
Petco or another LFS for frozen food.

I don't have any true LOCAL fish stores that are closer than an hour.

lol. In what world is it 3 hours to Barrier in Renton? From Gig Harbor it took me 45 mins one way. So about 2 hours max. In Tacoma it would take significantly less.

But I don't blame you. I buy my stuff on BRS or Amazon. I'll buy local. But I'm not paying Barrier pricing.
