Got a tank breakdown mostly for the equipment but it came with a few livestock the owner was going to part with or without the equipment. I took it. I fished out all the corals and inspected them and they dont look to be in the best shape. I also found these hard spiny tube things growing all over the corals and tank. They dont look like tube worms to me, perhaps some type of snail attaching to the coral skeletons?

Thoughts?

*Edit* vermatid snail LOL (too early in the morning for me)

A semi harmless pest, can get out of control and will bother corals

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
