Will a glass aquarium survive the heat?

I left my new glass aquarium tank in the sun to dry out the paint for the background, but I am worried if sunlight and heat will cause the silicone joints to become loose. Will that happen?

It certainly could damage the integrity of the silicone. Probably ok on a new tank. Did you paint the background?
