My hammer has been pretty aggravated over the past few days. I took it out to dip and inspect and noticed clear tubular worms and 1 giant brown 1. Are these harmful and if so how should I go about removal?

I can't see the clear tubular ones that were mentioned, but the big dark spot, which I assume is what is also being asked about, could be a vermatid snail. The angle makes it hard to verify that dark one, but it can be looked up online to compare.

Thanks guys. Snails have been removed and capped with super glue. I appreciate the help!
