100% Cultured

These clams are easy to keep if given intense full spectrum lighting, normal natural saltwater parameters, nothing nipping on them, a stable firm substrate for them to attach, and measurable phosphates and nitrates. Tridacna clams get the majority of their nutrition from photosynthesis therefore very intense lighting is essential, but they also utilize dissolved organics--via normal feeding of other tank inhabitants. They do not need to be specially fed.
