SCIENTIFIC NAME –Chaetodon flavocoronatus

COMMON NAME – Yellowcrowned Butterflyfish

SIZE – 4.9" (9 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE – 55 US Gal. (208 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING – The diet of The Yellowcrowned Butterflyfish is unknown. In captivity, this species will readily accept most aquarium fare. Should be fed a minimum of 2 times per day in a reef tank, or 3 times per day in a fish only system.

REEF COMPATIBILITY – With caution.

CAPTIVE CARE – The Yellowcrowned Butterflyfish acclimates readily to captivity and can be kept in groups if all specimens are introduced at the same time. An established reef will help with acclimation, but this species may decimate tube worms.
