Zippykat’s IM 25gal Lagoon- SPS dominant

I started this build in prep for my ultimate reef tank plan in which this 25gal lagoon will in the future become a frag tank for a much larger peninsula tank. Until then, it will be my mini SPS dominated tank.

Innovative Marine stand and mesh lid
x2 AI prime Hd lights with fixed mounts
Sicce 1.5 pump upgrade
Innovative Marine ghost skimmer
100w heater
x2 media basket towers
15lbs dry pukani rock
3lbs wet live rock
1” marinepure block
Tunze nano ATO
Trigger 5gal ATO tank
Vortech MP10

Additions since set up:
Jester6- stormtrooper rock and millennium falcon rock


So far I am extremely satisfied with IM products. I did have some micro bubble issues with the skimmer, but resolved with break in and placed the marine pure block strategically right after the skimmer and it breaks up any remaining bubbles before they reach the pump.

I forgot to mention that I added x2 In-Tank universal surface skimmer to help raise the water level and get rid of any water surface film. Also added one IM spin stream to the left return. Currently running filter floss and chemipure blue in the media baskets. My water is so crystal clear. I love it!

I’ve added a bunch of new corals over the last couple weeks. I also ordered a TruVu Len kit so I can take awesome pics of them. Will post new pics as soon as it arrives!
