Need ID.. Hydroid? Do they sting corals?

Please help ID, I’ve noticed these tiny dandelion things starting to pop up everywhere.

Yes they are hydroids and yes they sting corals. Powder foods like reef roids seem to make them spread.

dangit. I don’t feed anything besides pellets and flake food to fish. Haven’t fed coral foods because still at the tail end of a 6 month battle with dinos. I've heard the only thing to do is a dewormer/fenbendazole
