Just wanted to share a new build with you guys (been set up for exactly 1 week now). Bought it as a macro planted from a fellow reefer

Tank is 24"x26"x24", currently running sumpless until I get a pump / 10g sump to toss under there.

Plan for this tank so far is just macroalgae / seagrass / zoanthid dominated. Maybe some Ricordea in the future.

Fish will either be a breeding pair of Cardinal and smaller fish, or a ton of gobies like my 150G macroalgae tank.

Setting it up - (Please excuse the images, took these with my phone.. better ones to come later!)

I need to get some more mangroves, some of them start dropping their leaves.. I'm attributing this to them being uprooted and move, hopefully it will bounce back and I can have a lush mangroves forest in my tank

Very different. Good luck. Did you buy the mangro or collected them? Most mangroves purchased are grown from seedlings on a very low salinity water so they die if you dont acclimate them to saltwater properly.

Thank You all! I can't wait for this tank to grow out! Would be nice to see a nice lush mangrove forest over the tank

I got the mangroves with the tank, they've been growing in here but recently started dying since he was tearing it down and have no light on. The stress from the move / disturbed root caused a lot of their leaves to fall though.. But I think some of em are starting to grow again, so that's a good sign.

Your tank is an inspiration by the way! Love your zoa collection, hopefully one day I can get there haha. (I need to learn your secret to taking photograph too!)

Thank you all! Hopefully I can have a good zoa collection like you guys one day!

Got some People Eaters mini colonies coming in tomorrow!

Blue Rhino / Strawberry Agave coming Friday, fun week!

I'm still on the lookout for a Sonic Flare / Bloodshot zoa... that thing seems to be elusive to me
