I have a 7ft long 210 gallon tank and right smack in the middle there is a huge 2ft long 1/2 inch thick center brace. I have two questions.
! is their any way to replace the center brace with two small braces or a euro brace. 2 if i cant replace the brace would i be able to angle a diy led fixture so the light shone on the dark area in my tank
Thanks

i have havent done it yet but i will be running in to the same problem what i have came up with from fellow reefers is if you get acrylic mount next to the brace and fasten it to the plastic brace around the tank and once you have 2 in ther place then cut the brace out of the way after that again havent done and this is also asuming your tank is full

A couple of guys in my local club here in Houston have replaced the large glass brace with a stainless rod with a bracket at each end that fits over the plastic molding of the tank.

If the tank is empty then it is super easy. Just replace the big plastic brace with one/two smaller clear cell cast acrylics
