I had posted a brief message about myself and the tank in meet and greet section some time ago, but I couldn't find a chance to post more information about the tank.

Start up : July '13
Tank Size : 90 x 90 x 50 cm
Sump Size : 70 x 50 x 20 (water height) cm
PS : Tunze Master DOC 9420
Heater : Eheim Jager 300 W
Reactor : Media Reacot x 1 (Biopellets)
Water movement : Tunze 9405 x 2
Return Pump : Aquarium Systems NewJet 4500
Lighting : 2 x Maxpect Mazarra P series (I'll increase up to 3 modules)
ATO Unit with 25 lt capacity

Currently no dosing or balling activated.

Live Stock:
1x yellow tang
1x Midas Blenny
5 x Blue /Green Chromis
1 x Six lined wrasse
2 x percula
1 x purple fire goby

Cleaner crew : App. 20 x conches + 15 snails

1 x Hammer Coral
1 x brain coral
1 x ricordia florida
1 x favia coral
1 x finger leather
some zoanthids (don't know the name)
some red mushrooms

I couldn't find a chance to improve the tank alot with more live stock during the time. But soon new additions will take place.

Maintenance
70 lt water change / two weeks

Now some photos ;

It is a humble system when I compare to the very lovely tanks in reef2reef but I believe I will be able to progress in time by your valuable comments and suggestions.

Water Parameters of yesterday

Salinity : 1,024
Temp : 25,5 C
Ph : 7,95
Kh : 7,7 dKh (seems to be consumed and getting lower)
Ammonia : 0,00 ppm
Nitrites : 0,00ppm
Nitrates : 2,5 ppm (Decreasing since I implemented bio pellets for a month nearly. I am increasing the amount od pellets every week very slowly))
Phosphate : 0,00 ppm
Ca : 400 ppm
Mg : 1036,2 ppm (Decreasing)

It seems water changes do not help keeping Mg and Kh in place.

Best Regards,
Tolga

To be honest they are not enough for this size of tank. I am looking forward to buy the third unit to have better result. But as general performance of the fixtures I love them. I will be able to talk more about them during the time, because I had just added first montiporas a few days ago, and it is too early to talk about the efficiency of the lights on them.

Looks great. Your mag is getting pretty low. Might have to start bringing it up manually if water changes aren't keeping it stable. Same for your Alk too.

Thanks Richie. I started dosing Kh, Ca, Mg but decided to raise very slowly. I dont have a dosage pump yet but I think I can carry on with manual dosing for a short period of time.

After a few months I've switched the tank with a peninsula type rectangular one. Mazarras had been changed with domilux 6x54w with the new tank, and schuran pico ca reactor is in charge now. ( trying to adjust it since 10 days but nearly there now )

Thanks Gary. This is the best part of this hobby, to know new people all around, which are sharing the same "addiction" .
