This is my first contest, but I'm not new to nano tanks. I currently have a 20 gallon that has been running for 4 months and now I am setting up the fluval spec V which will be set up in my bedroom on my nightstand. I will post pics tomorrow.

Live rock and some snails are in. I will post a better pic when the sand settles again.

Have a 8 gallon star fire glass. I've been cycling for 3 months. Think I might enter.

I haven't decided what to put in here yet. For corals I'm thinking some zoas and acans. For fish (still in research mode) I'm thinking maybe a pair of purple firefish or a blue stripe pipefish, or maybe dedicating it as a small seahorse tank. I already know about the special requirements for the seahorses and pipefish. I'm putting a lot of thought into this tank before I go any further.

I just won some small zoa frags on ebay. Here's some of what to expect: extreme utter chaos, 8th wonder of the world, atomic sunrise just to name a few. I can't wait to get them and see how they look in the tank! They should ship Monday or Wednesday. I haven't set up a shipping date yet. I am also getting a couple sps frags to try out, but those will take 2 weeks before they can be shipped. I may not put the sps in this tank. The sps is : super sunset milli and a fuzzy watermelon milli.

I am having trouble with this tank. I think it may be leaking from the bottom. I bought a 20 gal set up (drilled tank with plumbing, sump, & stand) off of craigslist that I'm setting up today with live rock, sand, and some old water from an established tank. Hopefully I can speed up the cycle then I will transfer all of the livestock from this tank to the new tank.
