Hi everyone,
For many years now, I have wanted to set up a small tank at work as we all know they are GREAT stress relievers. I initially was thinking of a JBJ 28g but found it to be too big for my small office then put the plans on the back burner. After many years and lots of ideas later, I decided to take another look at what was out there. While there are a lot of options in the 8g range, I still felt that for my small office, they were still just too big.
I happened to come across a jbj 3 gallon curved glass picotype glass tank that seemed preety nice. After reading the reviews, I felt this one was the one for me. I decided to take advantage of a $100 gift certificate I had for Drs. Foster & Smith and picked up the tank which comes with a HOB filter & 9w clamp on PC 50/50 light. I also ended up getting a spare bulb, spare filter media to last me another 7 months, a nano glass cleaner, coral decoration and a static cling background so I wont have to see the cables. After all this, I ended up having to come out of pocket with a whopping $15.00
Now let the build thread begin.
