Seems to me that there is a missing element that no one ever shows. LR. Everything is always about the corals, fish and all other live but no one ever shows the main reason for the success of each and every aquarium.( i'm sure there is exceptons)
So with that being said i would love to see pictures of your Live rock, regardless the condition.
Here are a few pictures of my Rock.

stunning quality, both of your rock groups

The benthic animal details and pigments on those rocks, primo qual. I have a cycling thread that is based around not dosing that kind of rock with ammonia, but treating it well initially and making use of the instant filtration base + feeding community that quality of rock brings in

hard to find rocks that diverse in pet stores that's for sure.

What I did with my last restart was place a small piece of my LR in various reefer friends' tanks. Of course making sure (as reasonably as possible) that they were pest-free. After a month or so collected all the LR pieces and introduced them to my tank. Had an explosion of micro-life in my tank, sponges, tunicates, some really strange stuff, copepods and such.

Their farm in the Fla keys.. the yellow pin marks rows of rock in grow out section and other dots you see are coral grow racks

How much did you buy from KP? I used dry rock and I wish I went with this method. My previous tank 10 years ago used live rock and I was much happier with the biodiversity.

I just need about 5 lbs of LR and I think they have a minimum of 50lbs.

Contact them, I think you can get as little as 10 lbs

I ordered 15 lbs in October this year, right before they went on vacation for a couple weeks. Phil was able to get this together for me in just a couple days time, great experience. Will be ordering more when the weather warms up again here in the Midwest.
