I only have a pair of clown that i feed every other day and i have around 5ppm nitrate and always 0 po4. How come i have to clean the glass twice a day ? i don't do water changes as i dose trace elements aswell. My corals aren't looking great and i dont know what to do anymore. Skimmer has been off. As algea is still growing i added some gfo but not much has changed. What can i do ? I'm feeling desperated

First you dont add po4 reducing media when po4 is zero.
Feed your fish daily. Do you eat every other day?
Keep the skimmer going and just feed more. Some quality pellets will help.
Do you have a tank pic?
I have another fish in my second tank waiting to be introduced soon. I feed ocean nutrition pellets and also frozen food. I don’t feed the clowns every day because they aren’t hungry. I see the eating copepods the whole day. Here’s a pic of my tank. I’ll gladly take any advice. Oh and btw i also does phyto weekly.

I'd stop dosing anything and just do water changes.

Phyto bloom is a thing Hadn't heard about that before
You said you’re dosing it weekly.. it could be multiplying rapidly in your tank.. I don’t dose phyto and never have so I don’t know how much it was to takes to bloom.

I noted a big difference in cleaning my glass after installing a uv sterilizer. It won’t remove algae from your glass or rock but it will remove it from the water column before it settles. I went from every other day to every 4 days. Your corals aren’t happy because of your nitrate and phosphate levels. Get nitrate up to 10-15 and phosphate up to.05-.1

I know some members on here use Reef Roids on here to increase phosphate.
