So i already starting to buy everything i need for my easy low tech tank set up. I already bought a 60*30*30 cm(24*12*12 inch) tank, waiting for lamps to arrive, and also looking for tank gear in LFS'.

For rock I'm going to use live tank rock and sand. Sand and salt will be from Aquaforest (would like to hear any reviews)
Lighting is AliExpress 50 w freshwater spotlight, that showed itself good in Black Sea biotope macroalgae set up.(waiting for the lamp to arrive)
For filtration i'd like to use tidal 55(would love to hear any reviews too), and if it will not be strong enough maybe will buy a wavemaker to create these pulsing waves that make the tank look more natural.
For heating i'm planning to use aquael ultra heater, because these glass heater do not show themselves in a good way...(also would like to hear reviews)

It is all for gear, i don't like a lot of stuff in the tank that i need to look after + i plan to keep a lot of easy animals and plants in there, so i don't think that I'll have a problem. It's not completely low tech, but I'll hope it will do better then my black sea tank.

I want to make rockscape, so little fish can hide in it, and also to have some sand free space.

For future inhabitants I'd like to add(i may not add something in the list)

Corals:
Pulsing xenia
Anthelia
Briareum/pachyclavularia

Macroalgae:
Dragon's breath halymenia
Caulerpa lentilifera/prolifera/toxifolia(whatever i would be able to find)
Chaetomorpha(maybe not the most beautiful, but i saw how much worms, brittle stars and other critters live in the one at LFS, so i cannot not get it. As we don't have ocean live rock, i need to improvise)

Active inverts
Hermit/s(the Black sea ones, that are just blue legged hermits, that are not blue but red were completely useless, but look funny, so i maybe buy one or two)
Aquilonastra starfish(asterina)
Limpets(found them in few tanks at LFS, maybe will be able to get them)
Chitons
Columbella(euplia) snails
Tiger conch(a sandbed creature, that i will keep not because they eat the poop and poop in the sand or something, but because i like their derpyness)
Brittle stars and worms
Maybe pistol shrimp, but I'm afraid that it will not let me sleep(the tank is +- 1 foot from the bed)
Maybe something else but i dont know

Fish:
The main fish will be blenny, because they are the best. Either a tailspot (ecsenius stigmatura) or salarias segmentatus. Unsure about size of the second. Also would like to add a shrimp goby for simbiosis with shrimp. Either yellow cryptocentrus or wheeler's goby(better the second, especially if I'll get the next animal). The last animal is yellow clown goby. Or green clown goby, but i never saw one at LFS. Would love to hear about care of these creatures, especially - how long does it take for them to take food, will they all live together in harmony in such a volume, and other things that I'd need to know(I've done my research, but I'd live to hear the answers anyways). Also I'm planning to add the lid so don't worry)
Maybe that's all, stick around for updates, I'll hope this tank goes well)

Some "live rock" from the LFS. Not the best one, but has some life, and some has really good forms, so fish can hide in it. Maybe I'll find something better, but I don't know

The tank after start. I added approximately 3 to 7 cm of sand(1 to 2.5 inches), because i am planning to add stombus conch(conomurex luhuanus) and maybe a goby and shrimp pair(in addition to blenny). Hope they will appreciate. Also found some thrown out coral near LFS, asked if i can keep it and put it in the tank too. On Saturday i will get rock and macroalgae.

Now i also have a plexiglass lid. No blenny will escape)
If anyone's wondering, the net is temporary, there are some shells from snails and bivalves that i will add later.

The lid works great on your tank!

Aquascape is ready! I've got rock that had the most nooks, crevices and caves from the local hobbyist. Made the aquascape so it had an interesting look from the front and from the side. Also got some live sand from that hobbyist. The sand gave me worms, amphipods and a few little pieces of red dragon breath algae(it came free with sand). Also i've got a little coralline from the side of the tank, that i hope had some spores and will spread. I've also bought one "resurrected" live rock, which had a snail and a small nasterina starfish! I hope they will find something to eat, they have chaeto from LFS, "resurrected" rock and biofilm that is growing on pumps

Today this stupid bumblebee snail was added accidentally. Hope it will live and not bother anything. Supposedly now it is feasting on a piece of fish food.

Yesterday I bought my first coral - the "hideous" parazoanthus and it's doing well(it would be strange, if it didnt, but who knew). Its yellow color really shines under white light, so I will not be against it spreading) Also the snail is doing great, it is still funny to me, how slow and lazy it is.

Long awaited "start". Now i can put snails and asterina in here, they have something to eat. Also planning to add a conch. Will be using it instead of fish to bring nitrates and phosphates into the system.

The new addition : a lovely pair of yellow clown gobies(gobiodon okinawae)!!! Seem very cute, hope they will do well. They instantly loved the caves in the rocks, one goby went straight into one.

Ps: in the video I'm losing my mind in ukrainian about how derpy and funny these fish look
