Its not boring but your are just starting out fresh. Im sure if you posted photos with a loaded aquarium you would probably get more responses. However i think it looks good for just starting out

Be careful where you put the zenia it spread fast sometimes and not at others an isolated rock or magnet on back glass works good to I love the coral and it will pay for its self 10 fold in trade in value but it can also be a P.I.T.A. Nice selection with everything

Magnets are what I have used. Might be able to turn off flow and glue or epoxy to over flow maybe. Both of those spots would be easy to peal or slice extra off I traded a BUNCH of it to local fish store and local reefers

Everything looks good other than the monti. Its suppose to be gold with blue polps but its dark purple right now :(
