Quick question. I am dosing my alk and cal on brs dosing pumps. Right now i am dosing alk every hour from 12am to 11am. Calcium 12pm to 11pm. Each at 6 minutes. Am i better off dosing over a 24 hour period instead. For instance doing alk at 12am and cal at 12:30 and repeat throught out the day for 3 minute intervals? I think the biggest worry would be the PH. Right now i am rock solid at 8.2. Wouldn't the 24 dosing though keep water parameters more stable?

I might actually dose alk during the day when demand seems highest. Say, 6 am to 8 pm. That seems to lead to greatest alk stability, which may be more important than mitigating the pH low (depending on how low it is).

I don't think timing matters much on calcium.
