320 gallon aquarium on vinyl floor?

Hello, new here, trying to get back into the hobby after a 10 year break. Looking into buying a 320 gallon system from water box, the stand has adjustment feet so that will most likely cause pressure points. Is vinyl flooring(Currently installed) a good flooring option? Or should I try to replace the area the tank will be on with a hard tile flooring? Does anyone here have a large tank on vinyl? Any issues? Thanks

It will most definitely (permanently) wreck your vinyl flooring. We upgraded our office flooring to laminate prior to installation of a 200-gallon tank and never looked back.

I had a 200g on vinyl flooring before, no issues. But the stand was a flat bottom.

If you want to replace the floor you can. Especially if you're thinking about it, do it before the tank is in place.

You could also get 1/2" to 3/4" plywood (good stuff, some type of hardwood) and cut 6" strip that would go under all the feet. This would disperse pressure throughout the floor instead of one single point. You could then do a decorative trim or quarter round molding to hide the plywood. Paint the molding to match the stand.
