It all boils down to what you want. If you want accelerated growth and splitting, feed mysis and krill often. If you want them kept in check, let light and broadcast feeding do its thing. [emoji41]

@Reeflogic , I've actually put some girth on the nems I got from you by doing exactly that... Lots of light and whatever food they catch during feeding time.

Got one around the size of a softball.

I was trying to avoid mass splitting lol

I'm with KJ. My clowns usually feed the nems. I spot feed them mysis every 2 weeks or so.

Good info! I hope to get there eventually. Right now, the nem is just too small for the clowns to host. So I'll probably have to manually feed until they start hosting it.

I'm slowly but surely inching my way towards water making independence! I got the water containers in and put together on stands. Salt and pump came in today. I plan to mount the RODI unit tomorrow and then it's just the plumbing part that's left over. Soon!!

Nice Yash, where did you get the water containers from?

I got them from www.RuralKing.com. Cheapest of any vendor I found by far!! Best thing was they offer free shipping. I got both containers for $200 total. Other online places had the containers prices identical but they charged ~150 for just shipping!

Nice choice in salt!

I have heard really good things about this salt. Two most important is that everyone who has used it says it mixes very clean and the parameters that it mixes to are identical to what I keep my tank at. So it will be a seamless fit, I hope [emoji4]

Operation Mixing Station is complete and successful! Leak test passed, a batch of FW has been made and SW mixing currently. I had to add a booster pump to bring the PSI up to requirement.

No more lugging jugs of water! FREEDOM!!!! [emoji4]
