Wow!!! Thank you so much for sharing this! It's a remarkable setup and I love to learn by watching people like you who have planned so carefully.

Thank everyone for the kind words. It has been quite the endeavor but well worth it. I have had the tank up and running now since Feb. Lots of pics still to come.

Now that most of the build is done; Knowing what you know now, Would you have done anything differently?

The biggest thing I would have changed is the size of the tank room. Even will all the planning and laying out the room the way I wanted it still could have been a bit larger. It is pretty tight with everything I have it it. The other things I would have changed is the sand. Wish I had gone with a large grain. Other than that I am pretty happy with everything.

How long have you been planning this build? Obviuolsy, you built the house and designed the room in. Very cool!

I designed the house so the fish tank and room was in my initial plans. I probably tinkered with the tank design for about 6 months.

Very nice.
It's great to be able to plan for it from scratch rather then just fit it where you can. :)

What are the 2 tanks above the sump for, QT?

Yes, those are OT tanks. One for fish and one for corals. The coral tank now has an AI SOL LED over it.

Holy cow! One of the cleanest builds iv seen and its only 30 mins away!

Stop by anytime!!!

Here is the Genesis Renew auto water change system installed. I currently have it set up to change out 4 gallons of water per day. Seems to working great.I did not have that in my original plans.

Beautiful setup! I love the aquascape, the house looks wonderful as well!

I have always wanted to auto lower and raise my lights, i've looked into actuators but my biggest problem was attaching them to the rack, could you get some more detailed pictures of this?

Thank you and keep it up!!

Looking forward to see your on-going thoughts of the Genesis. Great looking fish too! Are you getting a nice barrel roll from the MP-40's? I haven't noticed the MP-60 - is it on the right end?

everything looks amazing, you're living the dream! The only suggestion I would make is to lower the rock islands a little bit, that way the corals will have a little more room to grow upwards... just my opinion :D
