Great info on the tank mount. Been wanting to get one along with the mount for a 10g Nuvo Fusion nano but I guess I'll skip the mount for now until they fix it. Anyone try the hanging kit AI sells for the Prime?

well. the rubberband wasnt a permanent fix. it was just temporary. had to replace the rubberband.

I found a permanent fix for droopy Primes, unscrew the metal bracket that tightens the ball joint, and flip it around ;)

I'm thinking about getting 2 of these for a 36"x18"x17" tank with Sps in the top half. Would the prime be too weak for the SPS?

i only have 1 sps frag. and it seems to be happy. but as far as getting two for a large tank. i think it would be better to get something like a reef breeder light. i think the par would be very low with even two lights. i believe they are best suited for nanos

These are the settings I have ran for about a month also. I have mine on a 4 hour ramp up / 2 hour ramp down. I leave the DB and B at 1% overnight.

FYI, AI sent me a replacement horizontal bracket. Evidently the original batches had the ball joint space overdrilled, and that's why adequate compression was impossible.

Dang. They just sent me a new kit two weeks ago to replace whatever I needed to make it work. I only replaced the plastic ball joint. The rep I talked to, didn't say anything about that. I am sure my new plastics will give out and I'll need to call them again.
