My recent reef additions. The pintail is my new favorite and the picture absolutely doesn't do it justice. Both are stunning wrasses!

any new updates?

Well, it certainly has been a long while and quite honestly, I didn't think anyone was interested anymore, so thanks for inquiring. A lot has happened since the last post almost a year ago, and for the worse, which left me pondering if I had the heart to continue in the hobby. I had lost all but 1 of my wrasses in a very expensive collection due to what I believe was velvet because of how quickly it devastated my fish. This was right after losing all my montipora as a result of montipora eating nudibranchs. Ugh. All this devastation left me questioning myself. But seeing all the wonderfully beautiful tanks out there on these forums, I gave it another go and learned from my experiences. I improved upon QT practices, especially with coral, and started over. Despite still having issues to overcome and small battles to win, I'm pleased to have a flourishing reef tank today. My wrasse addiction is worse than ever now (having pulled the trigger on an Earl's earlier this year) and my fascination with montipora is still strong. Here are some more recent pictures, randomly selected.

We just got a Rhomboid super male also. Did great in the acclimation box. Just released him last night.

Anyway, beautiful tank. Good luck with your ebay wins!

I captured this guy in my tank this morning. I've spied him once before briefly but today he was partially attached to my sea cucumber within a cave so I was able to suck him out with my baster. I believe it to be a polyclad flatworm. Perhaps I won't lose so many snails now :)
