I am working on this very thing, sps dominate with Kessil light. I do however supplement with a dual T5 more for shading. The Kessil leaves a few spots that don't get as much light and the T5 just fills it in. I could do another Kessil, but I already had the T5

I find factory recommendation on coverage is not sufficient. Leds r very dim so running 2x more than factory recommendation is needed for coverage. Triton Lani has the best design imo. Their fixtures cover the complete surface area of the tank. This allows for a much more wider spread n coverage. it helps prevent corals from getting burnt. Most led fixtures r too focused in a small area n lack coverage on the outer rims.

Awesome! How about your settings? Mind sharing? Lol trying to get some proven info out to everyone on here with kessils. It's really hard to find anything.

I use vidarock. Google it. My vision is a bonsai reef with good depth of field n lots of open spaces. Negative spaces r very important to keep it looking natural. We r going off subject here. I'll update my build thread soon with more info there.

I run mine at 100% intensity an 100% color these have been working great for me. Before I had the 360s I was running the 150s an still was growing sps just fine. Light is just a part of the equation have to also have good water quality

Excellent point. Water quality does play a role also.
