Just read this article on BBC....

Big headline, company using automation and AI to create "coral skeletons" to mount frags to... they appear to be making frag plugs, like we all have been doing for decades (though perhaps they are using robots to mount the frags?). Reminds me of the Julian Sprung MACNA talk where we talk about the future of our hobby and that, if we don't start taking credit for the advances that the aquarium hobby is responsible for, someone else will, and we will decline over time.

BBC Article on Coral Reef Restoration

I am thrilled that scientists and entrepreneurs are working on this stuff, I just wish we got more coverage in main stream media for the contributions that home aquarists and aquaculturists make.
