Are these actual PVC bulkheads that are neither ABS or Schedule 80 PVC?

Came across flexpvc.com looking for some out of stock plumbing pieces and noticed they sell “pvc” bulkheads that are neither ABS or Schedule 80 PVC.

Anyone familiar with these or their quality in comparison to ABS bulkheads? Tempted to order them just to see what they are.

Those are fine. Just make sure to drill holes to there specs. Unless you doing some industrial project with high pressures, you’re fine. Makes sure to use teflon in the threads.

I’ve just never seen what appears to be a true schedule 40 pvc bulkhead. Most retailers for aquariums carry something like lifeguard or joe truhan ABS bulkheads or Schedule 80 PVC bulkheads.

There’s different grades of ABS. Chinese being the cheapest. But it works in certain applications.

The sch rating has to do with the psi rating. Quality parts fit better together. Higher quality control, QC.

I personally use name brands that have been proven.

Lifegard Aquatics bulkheads are PVC.
