Looking good bro that tank is sick but the best part of this picture is see you you in front of the tank. It brings back all those times we would pick you up from your hotel room to go out and would find you drinking a beer and looking at your corals. If you don't no this is Brian from Lansing michigan area.

That's what I was wondering. I would be shocked if he only runs actinics, and the blue reefbrite strips.

correct jason

Wow that's impressive. What type of growth do you get from the sps in there?? I would imagine the par is pretty low with only actinics and the reefbrites. That's really crazy. For a lps tank I have no doubt it would work, but you have sps in there too. I'm amazed that they do ok without daylight bulbs.

Judging by the FTS and the placement of the light and corals, looks like the acros are up in the top 1/4 of the aquarium. Guessing the max PAR there is only around 200, so enough to sustain most acros, so long as the light schedule is long enough. That would definitely maintain some amazing pigmentation!

Lighting is not everything. All the corals are growing together like weeds in that tank. Just like they do in the ocean.

Seems like most people forget that corals love blue/actinic light...even acros. One of the nicest acro tanks I've seen in person, was under all ATI Blue+ T5s. The colors were awesome!
Me personally, I would rather have a tank with amazing colors rather then amazing growth.

By the way, your tank looks great!

Jason awesome stuff, after just visiting WWC and seeing how they have there lights setup I've been contemplating on running similar lighting spectrum/schedule to see if i can get a pigment shift in my sps. I'll be here for the sale!
