That's how I've been doing it. I was just more curious in case of vacations, holidays, etc.

Hello,

I have gone up to a week without dosing with no issues. I simply pick it back up when returning from a vacation.

Do you pick up at the same dose? Or do you start with reduced amount and bring it back up to previous level?

But I do have another question. Since you are carbon dosing for the corals not nutrient control how do you decide on a final dose?
Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,
I want to use a dosing pump for the Bacto Balance but the minimum quantity of my pump is 1 ml and I have to dose 0.5 ml.
Can I dilute Bacto Balance 50%? with RO water or other?

Thank you
I will be in the same boat (waiting for my doser)

Just wondering if we can play whit the pump calibration...
Calibrate for , let's say... 5ml... but stop it at 2,5ml... (half the time of the 1ml)
I will test and see (when I received my pumps)

I thought the same thing but with my doser didn’t work for dosing 0,5 ml

What patx is saying is you can calibrate it to half the amount and then run it for 1 minute which is only supplying .5ml of fluid

Can't wait to test this out :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: (I'm dead curious now)

I will try 10ml on calibration... and stop at 5ml.
And see if the program 1ml end up to be 0,5ml.

I found this:

7ish more day for my jebao wifi to arrive...

I did a quick test
Calibration 20... I stop when I reach 10ml.
Program dosing for 1ml... I got roughly 0.5ml dose.
Gona install my tubing and all later and redo accurate Calibration hack.
But it looking good.

Maybe your model can't be trick... due the the conseption.

Oh boy :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
I was about to give up and live with it...
But I try one last time...

Ok final answers ?
..yep...

first: My real and accurate calibration is 10ml for 14 sec. (1ml=1ml)

I put 10ml in 3 sec for the calibration.
1ml : give 0.28ml / 0.26 / 0.29 / 0.26 ml.
2ml : 0.55ml
3ml : 0.83ml /0.80 ml
4ml : 1.06 ml
5ml : 1.36ml

I don't know why it didn't work at first (to much ml ? )
Give it a last try... maybe...
