I don’t even have a word to describe how hot this Acan is, so I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves!

We have a limited number of frags left and they are going fast!

First pictures are of the mother colony followed by the frags available! Shoot me a Pm if your wanting more then one head :)

I can't help but wonder how an acan like this develops. I'm assuming special water parameters? Or are corals truly this vibrant in the wild.

Don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous but it looks almost artificial! Lol

acan echinata are really cool. they encrust a lot different than favias where instead of forming polyps at the outskirts of the colony's footprint, they extend their "intra-corallite" flesh out and down. They get a really good grip on their substrate. A lot slower growing in terms of polyp density than other LPS as well.

Micromussa Lords are the fastest growing LPS imo
Acan Echinata are the slowest IME (not counting the single-polyp colony genera like scolymia) or the larger Lobophyllia brain corals which are also quite slow growing.

I agree about micromussas. Mine grow the fastest but then again I only have 2 colonys of holy grails!

I just started investing in highend acans. Anyone got any pack deals especially Bsa ones!
